THE
ORCED PROGRAM AND DATA FILES
FOR
THE TEN NERC REGIONS
| The files needed to run
the ORCED model for each of the ten NERC regions are
bundled into a self-extracting winzip file. Each bundled file
contains four
files: (1) the ORCED model procedures
file, which describes how to run the program and alter the input data;
(2) the ORCED program file already set
up to run for the given NERC
region, and two data input files. The data input files consist
of (1) the EIA
power plant dispatch and economics data and (2) RDI Powerdat per
unitized load duration data based on hourly load data. The last
two files are only needed if the user wishes to alter technical and
cost information of the power plants and the load duration information. |
