Job Opportunities
From time-to-time the ISMV Group will post job openings for new staff members, post graduate positions (post graduate, post masters, and post doctoral), and summer faculty and students. The availability of positions in the group is dependent on the availability of sponsor funding and can range from a 10 week summer assignment, to 1-3 years for post graduate openings, or long term careers for new staff.

The Wigner Fellowship Program is a very prestigious, two year post doctoral Fellowship at ORNL. It provides an opportunity for outstanding engineers, life, physical, and social scientists to select and pursue research in an area related to national energy problems and interests. The ISMV Group is actively seeking qualified candidates for these positions to pursue R&D in biomedical imaging, industrial inspection, and national security. Fellows must be exceedingly well qualified in their fields of expertise and should be no more than three years beyond the doctorate.
