BestPractices Steam Tool Introduction Training

This Demonstration Site will allow you to review the current version of the BestPractices Steam Tool Introduction Training.

The training course has been converted from the current webcast format to a web-based format to facilitate more opportunities for the training event and to expand the audience past the SavEnergy Now participants.

This training course will provide an overview of the BestPractices Steam Tool Suite which consists of:

Steam System Scoping Tool
Steam System Assessment Tool
3EPlus Insulation Tool.

The training course will begin with a navigational tutorial to guide you on how to move through the three modules.

A quick reference guide is available for download here: quick_reference.pdf

Each module will demonstrate the capability of one tool and its interactions with the other tools. Interactive quizzes will be used to test your basic understanding of the tools after you complete the course.

Web-Based Training
Please click on the following link to begin the web-based training. The course will be a series of modules which will play continuously, but you can rewind, fast forward, pause, and navigate to any area of the course. When training is completed, use your back button to return to the website to send your comments.

Closed captioning and alternate text versions are also available.

Closed Captioning Option
This version utilizes closed captioning to review the narrative for each screen. Please refer to the Quick Reference Guide above for the location of the 'CC' toggle feature on the navigational tool bar of the course. You will need to refresh the closed captioning option with each module.

A text-only version of the training course is also available for download below and may be helpful to use along with the closed captioning option for full screen viewing of the training course.
