Tse-Yuan (Shen) Lu is a Research Associate in the BioSciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She received her B.S from Fu-Jen University and M.S. from University of Illinois. She has worked in the Protein Engineering group, studying enzyme systems of Rubisco, PRK, and Ru5P. And in the Genomes-to-Life project, she was conducting expression and purification of protein complex of specific bacterial genes. Currently, as part of the Plant-Microbe Interfaces project, she is isolating bacterial strains from P. deltoids across the various campaigns and conducting metabolic screening of those strains.
