• Aberration-corrected electron microscopy in studies of catalysts, thermoelectrics and nanophase materials.
• In-situ techniques for studies of the behavior of materials at elevated temperatures and under reaction environments.
• Remote operation of electron beam instruments
• Electron holography for characterizing morphology of nanoparticles, as well as electric and magnetic fields.
