Mission

The main mission of the Center for Advanced Biomedical Photonics (CABP) is to integrate the latest advances in photonics, biotechnology, and medicine to:
  • Advance fundamental research,
  • Develop innovative technologies, and
  • Commercialize unique products to drastically improve the quality of health care.

  • Another mission of the Center is to develop application-specific medical technologies that will contribute to the national mission of homeland defense.
