Accommodations
The conference hotel is the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. The room rate for the conference is $149/night, plus 12% tax, single or double occupancy. The room rate is available for three nights before and after the core conference. Reservations must be made before November 3, 2010, to guarantee the conference room rate. One night's deposit must accompany reservations. Attendees will make their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly at 727-595-1611 and requesting the "UT-Battelle Buildings XI Conference" room block.
The Sheraton Sand Key Resort offers an excellent combination of meeting and beach/recreation facilities. Amenities include a gourmet restaurant, cafe, snack bar, 24-hour general store, gift shop, newsstand/sundries shop, lobby bar, lighted tennis courts, fitness center, heated pool/hot tub, nearby golf courses, shopping malls, and marina. In addition, there are 14 acres of Gulf beach. Parking is free to registered guests. The hotel is located about 21 miles west of Tampa International Airport and is about a 2-hour drive from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

REGULAR ROUTE:
• Leaving airport, immediately merge left into one of the two outer left lanes towards State Road #60 West / Clearwater. Merge onto SR #60 and follow SR #60 West across the Courtney Campbell Causeway towards Clearwater. SR #60 will become Gulf to Bay Blvd. |

| • Continue on SR #60 / Gulf to Bay Blvd. West to the beaches. Closer to downtown Clearwater, SR #60 will become Court Street. Continue West across the Memorial Cause bridge. | |||
| • At the West end of the causeway, enter traffic roundabout. Stay in outer lane. Drive 3 /4 around circle, exiting SW at Coronado drive. | |||
| • Continue straight South on Coronado drive. | |||
| • Coronado drive will end, turn right at stop sign, followed by a left at the traffic light onto Gulfview Blvd. Continue east on Gulfview Blvd. | |||
| • Bear to the right across the Sand Key Bridge. | |||
| • Sheraton Sand Key Resort will be directly on your right, immediately after the Sand Key Park entrance. Enter at second entrance for registration and parking. |

• From Tampa International Airport, follow signs to I-275 South (St. Petersburg). (Do not follow signs to Route 60 Clearwater). |

• I-4 to I-275 South. I-275 to Exit #39, State Road #60 / Tampa International Airport exit. |

| • Continue on 60 West to the Beaches, which becomes Court Street shortly after the traffic light at Gulf-To-Bay & Highland Avenue. Court Street ends at the foot of the Memorial Causeway Bridge. | |||
| • At the West end of the Causeway, you will approach a roundabout - stay in outer lane of circle - follow circle 3/4 of the way around. | |||
| • Exit at South Gulfview/Coronado. | |||
| • Take the next right onto S. Gulfview Blvd. continue on approximately 1.5 miles to the south end of Clearwater Beach. | |||
| • Bear to the right across the bridge. Sheraton Sand Key Resort will be on the right. |

If not renting a vehicle from the airport...
There are several options available for you in regards to getting to our hotel from the airport and vice versa. Although, we do not provide a courtesy airport shuttle, you can take advantage of the Super Shuttle provided by Tampa International Airport for $24 per person. Reservations for the shuttle from the airport are not necessary, but if you prefer they can be booked online. Also, a private Lincoln town car can be arranged to pick you up from the airport and transport you to our hotel for a cost of $60 plus a suggested driver's gratuity of 20%. The return to the airport can be arranged as well by the Bell Staff and Concierge at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort.
