The
plan was for David Garmans' plane to arrive on time and be driven
to the Habitat Site for a set of short presentation's including
remarks we helped prepare. His plane was late as a result he missed
the ceremony. About 100 attendees showed up including the ORNL Laboratory
Director Jeff Wadsworth. Duncan Mansfield, AP reporter, prepared
an
article which appeared in today's Knoxville Sentinel.
The
next two near net zero houses were constructed between the rain
storms last week. Both houses were at a very interesting stage of
construction for touring. The six inch SIP house was left exposed
with roof, walls up and the inside seam taping in progress. The
4 inch SIP with the 2 lb EPS house was fabric wrapped and windows
installed. Both inside floors were wide opened about 25 folks including
several builders took an in depth tour.
