OAK RIDGE, Tn., August 6, 2003 --

Private home first to sell electricity back to TVA

The plan was for David Garmans' plane to arrive on time and be driven to the Habitat Site for a set of short presentation's including remarks we helped prepare. His plane was late as a result he missed the ceremony. About 100 attendees showed up including the ORNL Laboratory Director Jeff Wadsworth. Duncan Mansfield, AP reporter, prepared an article which appeared in today's Knoxville Sentinel.

The next two near net zero houses were constructed between the rain storms last week. Both houses were at a very interesting stage of construction for touring. The six inch SIP house was left exposed with roof, walls up and the inside seam taping in progress. The 4 inch SIP with the 2 lb EPS house was fabric wrapped and windows installed. Both inside floors were wide opened about 25 folks including several builders took an in depth tour.
