Disk Submission

* A Guide for Authors and Contributors *

Authors are encouraged to submit their accepted manuscripts on computer diskettes. Disks should be submitted only after a paper has been accepted into the year's proceedings. This will eliminate the need to rekey text and will decrease the manuscript's processing time.

How to Prepare Your Disk

Any popular word-processing or text editor software on a 3.5 inch computer diskette or CD-Recordable Disc is acceptable.

Manuscripts are to be submitted in physical form, printed out from the disk that is also to be sent. The manuscript should be saved as a word-processing file.

The disk you send in should contain only the final accepted version of your manuscript. Please include corresponding author information (address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers), abstract, abbreviations, footnotes, figure and table legends, acknowledgments, and references. Enclose one printed copy of the entire manuscript (including all tables and original figures). Please retain an exact copy of the submitted disk in case of loss or damage in transit, etc.

Tables and complex equations should be on the same disk under a separate file name.

Label the disk clearly with your name, date, and running title (e.g, Brian Davison, 01/01/2002, "Nontraditional Bioprocessing").
