Technology Transfer

The UT-Battelle Technology Transfer and Economic Development organization is responsible for interactions with commercial businesses including business utilization of ORNL’s world-class researchers and facilities, including research collaborations, contracted research, user facilities, etc., and management of ORNL’s vast portfolios of intellectual property, including licensing and patenting.

With assistance from partner institutions, the ORNL TTED organization seeks to effectively and efficiently utilize technology to support the objectives of business.
