Configuring Your PC to Print via the ORNL Visitor Wireless Network

A. Windows - you can use our print-server via Start->run->\\visitorprint. If Prompted for username/password, enter guest as username and no password, and then select an appropriate printer for your location.

Configuring Your Mac to Print via the ORNL Visitor Wireless Network

After you have determined the printer you want use (by viewing the list above), follow the steps below to define a new IP-based printer.

  1. Open the Printer Setup Utility. (The Printer Setup Utility is in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder.)
  2. Select the Add button.
  3. Select IP Printing.
  4. The Printer Type is LPD/LPR.
  5. Key in visitorprint.ornl.gov into the Printer Address field.
  6. Key in the printer name from the list above (column labeled "Printer"). For example, - e.g., R5700rm123a.
  7. Select the printer model if available or select Generic.
  8. Select Add.
