Space Claim Demonstration: Good CFD results require good meshes, and geometry is usually the bottleneck slowing down the analysis process. SpaceClaim contains geometry clean-up and editing capabilities in addition to volume extraction and enclosure creation tools, letting CFD experts model without having to rely on complicated CAD systems. Robust Design Optimization Tools: This part of the seminar will show how ANSYS Workbench and DesignXplorer provide a systematic approach for engineers to robustly optimize designs across a range of conditions and design parameters. Moreover, we will show examples of CFD shape optimization using ANSYS Fluent capabilities including adjoint solvers, mesh morphing, and/or radial basis function mesh morphing and explain the differences between DesignXplorer and launching the optimizations from within or outside of ANSYS Workbench.
