Error Message on ReBoot

Good afternoon --

Working on a problem dealing with our mail server.  It appeared
that local users could not connect to send/receive mail.  So, I
attempted several things, including a reboot.  I now have this
error message in our log files:

Dec 13 13:53:53 mail named[482]: sysquery: findns error (NXDOMAIN) on
ns.nether.net.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa?

The server appears to be working; however, it gives me a 421 STMP
connection error when I attempt to sendmail mail through it.

Any ideas?
