SSRT 2257 and PK3 for V5.1A

The patch release states:

"Kit Applies To:  Tru64 UNIX 5.1A PK2 (BL2)
...
The patches in this ERP kit will also be available in the next mainstream 
patch kit - Tru64 UNIX 5.1A Patch Kit 4"

This does NOT explicitly state if this patch will be in PK3 or not.  I can 
only assume it will not since they state it will be available in the next 
mainstream patch kit 4.

My question is: Do I need to install this patch on my systems with PK2, and 
then install PK3?  PK3 was due out end of July.  Is Compaq (now part of the 
new HP) holding the release of patch kit 3 to incorporate this patch?

Hopefully someone from HP (Compaq) will respond with an "official" answer.
