I think that I know the answer to this already but here goes, I have a Tru64 5.1A system with advfs file systems. Here is the output of df -i command for a specific file system
Filesystem 512-blocks Used Available Capacity Iused Ifree %Iused Mounted on
var_domain#var 6304752 180638 6104864 3% 10654 10402356 0% /var
I ran quotacheck -v /var
then I checked the inodes again and here was the output
Filesystem 512-blocks Used Available Capacity Iused Ifree %Iused Mounted on
var_domain#var 6304752 180150 6104832 3% 10412955 0 100% /var
I did a test to see if I could write a file to this directory and I could so the question that I have is this, since this is a AdvFS file domain does it matter that the inodes are showing as all used?
