SUMMARY: System clock slows down
Thanks to those that replied.
Found the culprit! Our hot standby machines can use either
Ethernet or Reflective Memory cards for the replication channel.
When we use reflective memory, the standby machine
slows down by ~10 seconds per hour. The rate of the slow
down varies depending on system activity.
When we use Ethernet everything is fine.
Therefore it appears that the driver is getting
in the way of clock interrupts and slowing the
system down.
