How to change default settings for /dev/tty01

Hi!

We need to change default settings for /dev/tty01.

Does someone know how we can do that?

The only way I see, is the change some parameters in the
/usr/include/sys/ttydefaults.h file, and after that rebuild kernel. I'm
I in right or is there some easyer way to do this?

Why we need this?
Because, our application expect some certain settings for /dev/tty01.
When we start application, the application set this value to proper
settings. But, when after that, application release /dev/tty01, the
/dev/tty01 get again previous settings (the default one).
What we need: after booting the system to /dev/tty01 have values
exactly like we need.

Is there any other way, except change some header files and rebuild
kernel?
