pipe in a chroot environment

Hi,

I am running the NCSA httpd in chroot environment. I have put the loader and
shared libraries in this environment and the httpd works fine.

When I try to run the PH query form in this environment, the call to
the PH program through a "popen( ..,"r")" returns nothing. What do I need to 
make this pipe work in a chroot environment?
