login, disklabel problem with OSF/1 2.0

Two more problems with OSF/1 2.0:

1) login dumps a core in / (X terminal related?)

2) When doing a disklabel on a RZ26L on a 3000/600 the rpm shows 3600: this
is no Fast SCSI-2. At the console prompt the fast SCSI options are on.
SO...?
