Hey, sorry to say, but when I recently reported the uerf -R said I have 
firmware v2.7, I meant v2.4.  I get interrupted every 5.6 minutes, and 
sometimes I have a hard time typing what I mean because I cannot get a 
moment to think straight.  Well, anyway.

I have version 2.4 of the firmware, one day to read ALL the documentation on 
the upgrade/install, and no chance to adjust my schedule, unless I go 
totally insane and get committed before tomorrow at 7:30 pm.  Even though I 
currently feel halfway there, I think I have to figure this ALL out by then.

So, I just change one of the jumpers and then boot off of the CD ROM 
firmware upgrade software.  Will v2.7 work with previous versions of OSF/1?  
I guess it does not mater since I have to upgrade anyway.

Thanks for the responses.  I will summarize after the upgrade, if I remain 
sane enough to write and be understood.
