I posted this morning asking how to avoid file locking problems on
files NFS exported from a DECstation running Ultrix 4.2 to an Alpha
running OSF/1 V2.0.

I had started statd & lockd on the Ultrix machine, and rpc.statd &
rpc.lockd on the Alpha, and was still having trouble.

It turns out that it works fine if you make sure you are exporting the
directory from the Ultrix machine with "-r=0" option.  I'm not exactly
certain why that makes a difference, but I assume it has something to
do with NFS on the Ultrix machine believing the NFS on the Alpha when
it tells it to lock the file.

Thanks to kobrien@xxxxxxxxxxxx for telling me what I was doing wrong!
