Error compiling

Hi all,

i'm installing qmail for the first time following the Life with qmail
italian document.

Until the "make setup check" all works without problems. When i do this
command, the compilation stops on auto-str.c file with this error:

./compile auto-str.c
auto-str.c:9: warning: conflicting types for built-in function 'puts'

auto-str.c:17: warning: return type of 'main' is not 'int'
./load auto-str substdio.a error.a str.a

who can help me,please?
