Decsystem5500 Help needed

i have a Decsystem 5500, when i purchased the machine it came with no manuals or software(ultrix4.4) manuals, i have no prior expirence with servers or unix but i aim to find out. the machine will boot i think with the following

" at this point i have found type "exit" then rf(0,0,0)vmunix then it lets me in i think!

 

also the tape is stuck in the drive error "bad rewind" unknown what to do next, if you know where i can download a manual it will help emencly,
