ORNL-MTSU collaboration brings new instrument to HFIR
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Sep. 9, 2009 Oak Ridge National Laboratory is part of a collaboration with Middle Tennessee State University, North Carolina State University, and Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute to bring a state-of-the-art neutron analysis instrument to ORNL's High Flux Isotope Reactor.
The new single-crystal neutron diffractometer, also known as IMAGINE, is being funded through the National Science Foundation and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
