ORNL, Georgetown University Medical Center sign research agreement
WASHINGTON, DC, Oct. 23, 2008 Georgetown University Medical Center and Oak Ridge National Laboratory have announced a unique research agreement that will combine molecular and clinical data collected at Georgetown with supercomputing capabilities that will allow the organizations to better understand vast quantities of collected information and data.
"We are very pleased to establish this relationship with such an outstanding medical research institution and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Georgetown University Medical Center," said ORNL Director Thom Mason.
