ORNL director to deliver first State of the Lab address
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., March 24, 2004 — Oak Ridge National Laboratory Director Jeffrey Wadsworth will deliver his first State of the Laboratory address at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, in the main auditorium of the American Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge.
Wadsworth, who became laboratory director Aug. 1, will discuss accomplishments at ORNL during the past year and look ahead to plans this year and the future, as well. He will also answer questions from the audience.
Wadsworth's talk is part of the 2004 Community Lecture Series sponsored by Friends of ORNL. A reception will follow in the AMSE lobby.
The public is invited to the lecture and reception.
