Ronald McDonald House

- Team UT-Battelle team members continue to collect aluminum beverage can pull tabs, which are sent to the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. The house then turns them in for cash refunds. To date, approximately 17 gallons of tabs have been donated.
- Team UT-Battelle will continue to undertake tasks that will benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
A work day was held at the Knoxville Ronald McDonald House on November 2, 2002. During the very productive day, cleaning and organizing were major activities throughout the house and property.
In early 2004, a second work day was undertaken to de-decorate after Christmas and clean the facility. Team UT-Battelle also assists with a fund-raising golf tournament for the Ronald McDoanld House and a "Float-A-Thon" fund raiser held at Dollywood's Splash Country.
