American Diabetes Association Walk
On October 5, 2003, ORNL staff members who had collected funds for the American Diabetes Association participated in a walk on the UT campus, to celebrate progress against this debilitating disease. Several hundred volunteers were included in the walk, with a related social event featuring games, entertainment, and food during a beautiful afternoon.

Team UT-Battelle was a major contributor, donating $3,165 out of a total of approximately $87,000 raised. 2003 was the fourth year Team UT-Battelle participated in the event.
