The Angel Tree Christmas Collection drive is an annual event with a long tradition of providing needy children from surrounding counties a brighter holiday season. The Angel Tree Christmas Collection drive usually begins in late October or early November.
In 2003, ORNL employees continued their generous support in the holiday spirit and supplied gifts for 200 needy children in surrounding counties. They also contributed over $400 in cash, which enabled the committee to buy gifts for several additional children.
