(UPI) Police refused to provide specifics on a criminal investigation into allegations against fired University of Tennessee swimming Coach John Trembley.
Representatives of the Knoxville Police Department and the university met Thursday morning, the department said in a statement, WVLT-TV, Knoxville, reported.
"As a result of the meeting, KPD has launched a criminal investigation into the alleged activities of Mr. Trembley," the statement said.
