The Honors and Awards Office is the center and catalyst for external, and many internal, recognition activities within the Oak Ridge National Laboratory that foster an institutional culture of excellence. The focus is on coordinating the submittal of award nominations. Some key programs are Awards Night, R&D 100 Awards, and Department of Energy programs such as E. O. Lawrence Awards, Enrico Fermi Awards, and Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) Awards. We also coordinate displays and exhibits featuring honorees and promote publicity for honorees.
