Hi,
thanks to the people who answered my question:
-Dave Wolinski <wolinski@xxxxxxxxx>
-Jim.Zelenka@xxxxxxxxxx
-Shirley Chrisman <Shirley.Chrisman@xxxxxxx>
The result is that Transarc is not supporting DU 3.2C (why?).
In any case I found somebody who installed (gomezel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) AFS
3.4A on DU 3.2C claiming that it's working, we tried to install it and we
found:
- AFS is incompatible with ADVFS: the cache area cannot be on a ADVFS
partition (the machine crashes during installation while trying to create
the cache area);
- AFS was installed without problems on a DEC 3000/300 with /usr being on
a UFS partition and / being on a ADVFS partition, and seemed to work BUT
the machine crashes whenever I try to remove a file from a remote cell.
The same doesn't happen on a machine with 3.2A.
