Hi,
Have experienced such a fatal situation on a "OSF/1 cluster" V2.1 made
of two Dec3000-600S linked through two differential SCSI busses and
running DecSafe ASE V1.0 :
#asemgr
s) Obtaining Status
m) Display status of ASE members
... after a long period ...
no director found
The only way to fix it has been to reboot both machines ! In case of
such situation would occur again, could you please let me know :
1/ any idea of the reason for loosing the director daemon
2/ best way to fix it (w/o having to restart machines)
3/ your feelings on the DECSafe ASE failover software, in particular the
setting up of ADVFS+LSM disk services
Thank you
