we are currently in the process of configuring a dec 2100 with a storageworks array to 16 drives. has anyone attempted to use standard scsi drives in this type of configuration? what is lost by following this path? what are the items required to (parts from dec) to make a drive fit in the storageworks box? will we still be able to use raid implemented from the hardware level with non-dec drives? thanks........ carl
