SLIP/PPP and other questions

    I'm noted a number of queries on this list over the past year
    reguarding SLIP and PPP.

      - One (1) Summary has been published on SLIP.

      - Nothing has been published on PPP.  Is it available?  Can it be made
        to work from FreeBSD, etc., sources?

      - And I can't find any answering reply on the "dial on demand" question.

    Does anyone have any athoritive answers to these questions?
