Run your directory list through tai64nlocal as:
ls /var/log/qmail/ | tai64nlocal

The file names are tai64 encoded so the first file name is:
2008-08-05 12:03:52.676324500.s

As your long ls shows, you have logs for Aug 5 and 6.

HI ,
yeah that is the issue, i didn't able to understand why it's being deleted. As i have not done by manually or by any of my scripts. Can you give some idea on this....
