qscanq, clamav, spamassassin

I've installed qscanq and clamav. I tried to getting it to work using the
qmailqueue method without success. I went ahead and did the install-wrap
(ref http://www.qscanq.org/install.html) method. Now I want to be able to
use spamassassin (spamd already running on the system) on a per user basis.
Has anyone done this? What approach is best for efficiency.
