Hi all,
I have a problem when picking up bounces of large mails with attachments. If
a user sends an email with a large attachment which then bounces, the user
recieves the bounce message. This bounce message includes the attachment,
but qmail seems to break the MIME encoding - with the result that the user's
email program crashes as it tries to display 25MB-odd worth of text (yes,
it's Outlook, and yes, they want to keep sending big files via email...).
How does one go about ensuring that bounce messages have valid MIME
attachments? Alternatively, I'm happy stripping attachments from bounce
messages. Any idea how to go about this?
This is a LWQ-style installation with the queue patch, running on FreeBSD
4.4.
Many thanks in advance,
Dan
