Seagate 1 Mb drive

Dear managers:

Our DEC field engineer replaced a non system internal disk on DECstation
5000/33 running Ultrix 4.4. I could not fsck the drive. I typed
"rzdisk -f known /dev/rrz3c to format drive and it apparently worked.

Next, I tried fsck drive to know avail. Here is some output of a
typscript:

# fsck /dev/rz1c
** /dev/rz1c
BAD SUPER BLOCK: MAGIC NUMBER WRONG
USE -b OPTION TO FSCK TO SPECIFY LOCATION OF AN ALTERNATE
SUPER-BLOCK TO SUPPLY NEEDED INFORMATION; SEE fsck(8).
# /etc/chpt -q /dev/rrz1c
/dev/rrz1c

using default table from device driver.
Current partition table:

Is this drive which replaced a Quantum drive compatible with Ultrix?
