Sorry about that last blank message.  I'll try again....

I'm trying to set up a HP LaserJet 4M (PostScript) to run under Ultrix 4.3a.
The printer will print an ASCII file with the filter set to 'ln03of', but
it won't print a PostScript file with the filter set to 'ln03rof' which is
the PS filter.  I've been on the phone with both HP and DEC.  The woman at
DEC is looking into it.  She said that Ultrix 4.4 will come with filters for
HP printers, but no one is sure when it will be out.  She is going to see if
she can get somebody to give me one of the new filters to see if it'll work.
They don't have any LJet 4's there.  Everything seems to work fine with LJet
3's, tho.

Has anybody set up a printcap file to do PS printing on the LJet 4M?  Can
you tell me how you have the parameters set up to do this?

Also, in ASCII mode, the printer doesn't eject the last page, and I have to
hit the FF button to get it to come out.  Does anybody know if anything can
be set to have it automatically spit it out????
