Biological and Environmental Sciences Commercialization falls
into two research areas: Life Sciences and Environmental Sciences. See
available technologies.
Life Sciences research is advancing
science and technology in order to understand complex biological
systems and their relationship with human health and the environment
(in Mammalian Genetics and Genomics, Computational Biology, Biophysics
and Biomedical Technologies, and Toxicology and Risk Analysis).

commercialization manager.
Environmental Sciences is
conducting research in the environmental sciences-integrating strengths
in biogeochemistry, environmental biotechnology, environmental
chemistry, ecosystem studies, geosciences, hydrology, environmental
assessment, economics, and policy analysis; and in the microbial
sciences-emphasizing microbial tecology, functional genomics and
proteomics, complex biological systems, and biotechnology.
