The Oak Ridge National Laboratory Mentor-Protégé Program is a Department of Energy initiative and is designed to assist and guide HBCUs and Minority Education Institutions in an effort to enhance their capability to perform contracts, subcontracts and partnerships for Oak Ridge National Laboratory managed by UT-Battelle and other DOE Laboratories and Facilities. Those educational institutions eligible to participate in the program include:

  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
  • Hispanic Colleges and Universities
  • Tribal Colleges and Universities
  • Other Minority Educational Institutions (MEIs) of higher learning

This exciting program has proven to be very beneficial to HBCUs and MEIs as well as to Oak Ridge National Laboratory. For more information, please send all email inquires to:
