Spark Technology Forum
January 18, 2011
Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Technology 2020 Center for Entrepreneurial Growth hosted the first SPARK! Technology Forum January 18, 2010. With a goal of creating “sparks” of opportunity between ORNL researchers and the entrepreneurial community, a group of about 30 of Tennessee’s preeminent entrepreneurs and investors formed a committee to evaluate business opportunity presentations based on twelve of ORNL’s highest potential technologies. With the panel’s guidance, six technologies were selected to form the bases for business plans to be presented as a feature event of the April 5-6 Bridging the Gap conference.
