“ORNL represents
a vast and evolving body of knowledge in its own
right. Depending on job duties, however, staff may
need, or require, additional training. The Training
Management Group makes sure that the right
processes, systems, and tools are in place to
address these needs. Managing information and
providing communication about training activities
and staff qualification are big parts of this
effort. This group also provides most of the
classroom and web-based training services at
ORNL—particularly those courses that fulfill
internal and external requirements.”
