The Quality Measurement Services Group is formed
by the
ORNL Metrology Laboratory and the Intercomparison Studies Program to support the overall Quality Assurance mission of ORNL.
“If you require accurate
measurements, check with the QMS staff members,
who maintain primary standards for flow,
pressure, temperature, electronics, length, and
mass. Instrument accuracy is certified with
these standards in QMS’s internationally
accredited Metrology Lab. QMS’s staff prepare
Quality Control samples of natural urine and
synthetic fecal material for bioassay labs at
ORNL and nationwide.
