Missions
The Basic charter of QE&I includes
three major objectives:

Provide quality engineering assistance to design organizations in the
areas of inspection, test, NDT, materials, and welding during design and
construction phases of projects. Perform surveillance inspection of
project components (whether fabricated internally or externally);

Maintain an in-house safety inspection program encompassing boilers,
filters, cranes, elevators, hoisting and rigging, etc.; and
-
maintain a team of trained and certified team of technicians to
perform weld inspections, visual inspections, and nondestructive
examination of materials and fabricated components
