The QE&I facilities include
respirator and filter cartridge test areas, relief valve
test equipment, and gas cylinder test equipment. Access
to other equipment, such as certified weights, and sling-pulling
test equipment is available if needed. Other facilities include
X-ray vaults (with a port for gamma radiography), liquid penetrant
tanks, helium leak test bombing stations, magnetic particle
inspection station, and film processing equipment. Access to other
ORNL NDE equipment is available, if needed.
