Celebration Events at ORNL

Displays featuring ORNL employees of Hispanic Heritage in the 4500N Library and 4500S Canteen.

October 2 -- Hispanic Awareness Day
In celebration of Hispanic Awareness Month, we encourage ALL employees to bring or wear items of Hispanic origin. Please feel free to wear head-to-toe outfits or just souvenir T-shirts. Come to the Cafeteria for the Salsa Contest and let us take your picture for the web site!!!

Third Annual Salsa Contest-ORNL Cafeteria, 11:00-1:00

Professional Dancers-Enjoy hearing Spanish music and watching Spanish dancers perform during lunch at the ORNL Cafeteria.

The films are courtesy of Valleyfest Film Festival which will sponsor Valleyfest 2002 on March 13-17 at Regal Cinema Art at Downtown West.

Learn about Hispanic Heritage from some of our own employees during this panel discussion in the Weinberg Auditorium. Refreshments will be served. Jaime Fernandez-Baca will moderate the discussion.
