The great cathedral in downtown México City. This architectonic jewel has withstood earthquakes, flooding and wars for more than 300 years

A detailed view of the entrance to the sacristy of the cathedral. A typical example of baroque art.

The majestic Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City. Almost built in is entirety using marble from Carrara, this building which was erected to commemorate the first century of Mexican Independence is sinking at a rate of various centimeters/year.

A few years ago I found these murals painted on the walls of a housing unit in LA, very much in the tradition of the great Siqueiros, Rivera, Orozco and O'Gorman.
