Events and activities of any kind do not happen without funding and work. We are particularly grateful for the generosity of the organizations who were willing to sponsor the African-American Heritage Month 2000 events. Some sponsorships were in the form of dollars (i.e., paying for the honorariums for speakers, etc.) and some were in the form of 'in kind' donations (i.e., not charging for their services). Both kinds of donations are very much appreciated.
